Hexarelin is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP) that has been studied for its potential to stimulate the release of growth hormone (GH). This six-amino acid peptide has shown significant GH-releasing activity in both infant and adult rats, demonstrating its efficacy across different age groups [1].

Research has identified and characterized a new growth hormone–releasing peptide receptor in the heart, suggesting a direct influence of Hexarelin on cardiac function.
